Hi, my name is Jón Hjörleifur Stefánsson. I’m an Icelandic independent scholar, specialized in apocalyptic studies, who dabbles in the arts and languages. Currently based in the Middle East.

  • Apart from doctoral studies, I have been engaged in research projects that included compiling (and assessing) data and synthesizing it

  • I have initiated research projects and gotten them sponsored to completion. I do some drawing and poetry-writing

  • I have copy-edited and proofread for friends and family (all sorts of texts, including book manuscripts and theses) for more than two decades
